Muzzle Brakes

Muzzle brakes are a very useful device for reducing recoil. Because of the noise and blast that they re-direct toward the shooter, the use of one is largely an individual choice. Personally, I don’t care for them. However, they have their place and we install a lot of them. If you are the least bit recoil sensitive having a brake installed might be a good idea. We make our own muzzle brakes and customize them for each individual rifle that we build, because you don’t need the same brake for a .270 that you need for a .375.
They are extremely effective at reducing recoil. They are loud and should only be used when wearing hearing protection. We suggest using them only for shooting at the range or that you use some type of hunting compatible hearing protection.
